Chrome Warrior is a teacher-driven community designed to encourage teachers to collaborate and share successes with one another. This program is for the teachers, by the teachers. Educators will be sharing their experiences and motivating one another to integrate technology into their daily routine.
There are added incentives to encourage teachers to advance their own learning. By sharing lesson plans and reviewing chrome apps posted to a Google Plus community, teachers are able to progress to higher levels of digital literacy and earn additional technology to support classroom instruction. These teachers are continually giving and receiving feedback used to improve the program and to prepare them to teach the next group of teachers.
The program is managed by the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, the Director of Educational Technology and the Educational Technology Specialists of the Palm Springs Unified School District.  District support includes continuous coordination and support of the teacher professional development network by the Educational Technology Specialists.
